CHEQUERS INN, DODDINGTON
Historic coaching inn in the village of Doddington, dating back to the 12th century. Said to have been used as a "smugglers dump" in the 14th and 15th centuries.
The pub was then situated on the only road between Whitstable and Maidstone. Many artefacts have been found on the site including "coshes" and buttons.
There are bar snacks, lunches and evening meals are available.
The Chequers now has Wireless Broadband Internet Connectivity.
